Triandibo Stud and Training Centre began in 1983 in the Yarra Valley Victoria. The name was made up by a friend, a mix of all our names.
In our first year of operation, we purchased Tondara Cutter Sur who was by Mr War Cutter* dam Susies Sur* we showed him in everything from Halter, Western pleasure, trail, western riding, reining, cow horse and cutting. He was a great ambassador of the versatile Quarter Horse.
We slowly started to collect mares that were either performance horses or we trained them in performance events and then bred them. In the 90’s we knew we needed to move forward and improve of stock and bloodlines. Super Lynx was purchased from Garrison Stud, he was out of the great Roanies Lynx, and Half-brother to Doc spinifex, how could we go wrong.
Now 22 years later, even though we lost Super lynx at an early age, his progeny are still winning under saddle and Mares are producing winners. We also purchased inevitably in the mid-90s in partnership and took over total ownership in the last 90s. Inevitably progeny are champions in the show arena and the Mares producing performance horses like their mothers before them.
We have a son of Super Lynx, Triandibo Super Lynx who is out of a playboy Roy mare, we are now crossing him with the Inevitably mares, with great results. Triandibo Inhesuper, Lynx in Pink, Triandibo Super Diva and Triandibo Lynx to Royalty to name a few.
We now boast a great group of mares with performance records or siblings with a performance records. Sweet Little Peppy, our greatest producer and grand dam, performed under saddle and has produced multiple champions Triandibo Zippinalong, Triandibo Peppy Lynx (dec) Triandibo flaming Lynx, Triandibo Incandescent (dec), Triandibo Indiva, Triandibo Super Sweet and Triandibo Intrepid.
We have daughters of Sweet little peppy in the brood group, Triandibo Super Sweet and Triandibo Indiva who are also producing great progeny.
Other Mares include Naturally Blonde, Cagie Playgirl, daughter of the great Cagie Boom, she has only been with us 6 years but has produced Inscription, Triandibo Infullplay and Triandibo inhecagie.
We also have other mares by Inevitably and Super lynx, Triandibo Incensation and RQH Infatuation Triandibo In she natural. The brood mare group offers bloodlines from bar passer, Invitation only, Chickeramic, Playboy Roy.
The combination of mares and Stallions has resulted is a great team of horses, not just in the show arena but on the ranch and trail. We are extremely proud of the results. 2013 sam many hi point winner and top ten achievers, Triandibo flaming lynx Hi Point All round Quarter horse, Liz Christian and Triandibo Flamin Lynx , Triandibo Incede and Lynx in Pink Hi Point All Round Amateur. Top Ten horses include Triandibo Infullplay Triandibo inhesuper Triandibo Intriplechick , Inscritpion, Triandibo Inshekarismatic, Triandibo Superabundance and Inevitably 3rd overall hi point sire of performance horses
We are looking forward exciting times ahead with the New Generation of Triandibo horses, this year with Triandibo Intrepid, own son of Inevitably dam Sweet little Peppy standing at stud in 2014.
